As Spotted Wolf was carving in the forest he had no idea what was happening in the outside world. Strange he was carving a two-barreled flute with a flying bird saddle on that sad day. The song on this flute is a very sad sound but beautiful. It remains in his private collection to this day. |

It is Beaded in the Peyote style which involves the actual bead by bead stitching directly on the flute ! Also the Saddle ties are wrap beaded and macromae with horse hair and sinew. | This Low toned flute is in the key of E below middle C. It measure 47 inches long which is why you see a brass mouth piece added to the top instead of a straight blow hole. It is made of White Pine and aromatic cedar and features a Crescent Moon Saddle in Aromatic Cedar with horse hair ties and brass cones.
